Finish 2025 Strong — Uplift Each Other and Begin 2026 with Steadiness and Presence
Updated: Dec 24, 2025

As 2025 comes to a close, it is natural to feel a mix of emotions.
In yoga, we are taught not to rush past moments like this.
Before we move forward, we pause. We observe. We breathe.
For many, 2025 has carried its share of challenges—some visible, others quietly held. Plans shifted. Expectations changed. Energy rose and fell. None of this means failure. It means we were living, responding, and adapting.
To finish the year strong does not mean ending with force or intensity. In yoga, strength is not about pushing—it is about steadiness. The ability to stay present with what is, without turning away.
As we prepare to step into 2026, the intention is simple and grounded:
to care for ourselves honestly, to stay connected, and to begin again—together.
This is the work of practice, both on and off the mat.
Year-End Reflection — 2025 in Motion (Video)
Before looking ahead, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the year that has just passed.
Below is a short video reflection where I share my personal thoughts on 2025—what it asked of us, what it revealed, and what it taught me as a teacher and practitioner.
This is not a highlight reel.
It is a pause.
An invitation to acknowledge effort, uncertainty, resilience, and growth—without judgment.
I encourage you to watch this video the way you would approach practice: slowly, attentively, without distraction.
Special Yoga Classes — Growing Strong Together (Video)
Over the past weeks, our special yoga classes have taken on a very intentional direction.
These classes are designed to bring like-minded students into one room—people who are not just attending yoga, but who genuinely want to practice, learn, and grow together.

20251214: Special weekly class - Chair yoga for all levels (Full length) - Draft (Remove soon)
Unlike typical yoga classes, which are often limited by tight schedules, studio rules, or surface-level instruction, these sessions allow for something deeper and more honest.
In these classes:
Barry is able to teach without unnecessary limits
Hands-on adjustments are used to support real improvement
Clear feedback and thoughtful critique are offered
Students are encouraged to refine—not rush—their practice
This environment creates space for both physical strength and mental clarity to develop naturally.
When committed practitioners practice together, growth becomes shared rather than competitive. Over time, confidence, stability, and awareness emerge—not from ego, but from consistency and support.
This is the foundation of sustainable yoga practice.
Community Engagement — Vuroi Discount Challenge Results 🎁
As a way to encourage participation, consistency, and curiosity, we recently held the Vuroi Discount Challenge.
The purpose was simple:
to acknowledge those who showed up, stayed engaged, and committed to their practice.
I’m grateful for the thoughtful participation and genuine effort from the community. Several students earned Vuroi discount codes, which can be applied toward special classes, upcoming workshops, or future offerings.

Year-End Gathering — Welcoming 2026 on a High Note (Community Survey)
As we approach the final days of the year, I’ve been sitting with another question—one rooted not in logistics, but in ritual.
In many cultures, including Chinese New Year traditions, people light firecrackers to symbolically clear away what no longer serves—fear, bad luck, old stories—and to welcome the new year with brightness and momentum.
We may not light firecrackers, but we can still honor the same intention.
A year-end gathering—whether through a shared meal, a simple party, or a meaningful yoga practice—can serve as our way of closing the year consciously and beginning the next one with clarity and energy.
This is not a fixed plan yet.
I’m gathering ideas and interest from the community.
Possible Year-End Gathering Ideas
Group lunch or group dinner
A casual community party
Yoga practice + reflection to close the year
A light, fun gathering with a gift exchange
Something simple and meaningful you’d like to suggest
The intention is not extravagance.
It is to come together, lift each other up, and start 2026 in a positive, grounded way.
Share Your thoughts...
If this resonates with you, please take a moment to share your thoughts through the survey below. Your input will help shape whether—and how—this gathering comes together.
If you’re feeling full or prefer to keep things quiet this season, that’s completely okay too. Participation is always optional and pressure-free.
Sometimes, beginning a new year well is simply about showing up—together—and choosing a hopeful note to step forward on.
Closing 2025, Preparing the Ground for 2026
In yoga, transitions matter.
We don’t rush from one posture to the next without awareness.
We respect the space in between.
As we close out 2025, my hope is that we do so with clarity rather than pressure. Whatever difficulties arose this year do not need to follow us forward unchanged.
Let us finish the year grounded.
Let us uplift one another.
Let us begin 2026 steady, present, and connected.
Thank you for practicing.
Thank you for trusting the process.
Thank you for being part of this community.
— Barry
